The workshop is on Woolcock St in Garbutt, in Townsville's main light-industrial strip. Parking is on site. The battery counter is the walk-in half of it; anything that needs the vehicle on the hoist or a diagnostic session is booked in.

What Townsville looks like.
A port city, and the traffic that comes with it
Heavy transport, mining and civil contractors work out of the port, and the vehicles that carry it are 24-volt rather than 12. Trucks, plant and earthmoving gear are ordinary work here, not an exception we make.
The tropics are hard on wiring
Heat, humidity and the wet season are what age a harness up here. Corrosion in connectors, water finding its way into looms, and batteries worked hard by air conditioning and short trips — that is the local failure pattern, and it is why we measure before replacing.
A trade and fleet town
Service bodies, canopies, work utes and fleet vehicles, kitted with lighting, dual batteries, toolbox locking and trailer wiring. Enough of it that the fit-out work is a trade of its own alongside the fault-finding.

- Where is the Townsville workshop?
- 448 Woolcock St, Garbutt QLD 4814, with parking on site. Garbutt is Townsville's main light-industrial area, so we are set up for trucks and machinery as well as cars.
- What are your opening hours?
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Closed Saturday, Sunday and public holidays.
- Can I just walk in, or do I need to book?
- Battery testing and fitting is a walk-in — bring the vehicle and we will test the battery and the charging system before selling you anything. Anything that needs the vehicle on the hoist or a proper diagnostic session is booked in, so the bay and the time are set aside for you.
- Do you work on trucks and machinery, or only cars?
- Both. Cars, utes and 4WDs, and 24-volt work on trucks, plant, earthmoving gear and agricultural machinery. Boats on trailers come inside as well, and golf carts and electric UTVs are serviced on the same floor.
