Why Wulguru is different

Auto electrical work for Wulguru.

Heavy vehicle electrics

24V charging faults, isolators, beacons, marker and work lighting, trailer plugs — what anything running the Flinders and Bruce Highways needs kept right.

Contractor and work vehicles

Beacons, work lights, reversing cameras and the accessory wiring a work vehicle collects — fitted to the vehicle and the job rather than improvised.

Family cars too

Behind the highway it is ordinary suburban streets — batteries, starting faults, air conditioning before the wet. Those come in to the Garbutt workshop like anything else.

Worth knowing

How the work gets booked

For fleets and plant it is worth keeping a running list rather than ringing about each fault as it appears. Booking several vehicles together means one lot of paperwork, one lot of downtime, and a technician who already knows the history of what is in front of them.

On the ground

Wulguru in our words.

Wulguru is two kinds of vehicle in one suburb — highway and contractor vehicles on one side, family cars and caravans on the other. The advice differs too: work vehicles are worth a scheduled booking, and a flat battery is worth bringing in for battery testing and replacement rather than chancing another start.

FAQ

Wulguru questions.

Do you work on both trucks and cars?+
Yes. Trucks, contractor vehicles, family cars and caravans — the same workshop does all of it.
Can you fit beacons and work lights to a contractor vehicle?+
Yes — beacons, work lights and reverse alarms, wired properly. Tell us what the site needs and we will talk it through.
Do I need to book, or can I just turn up?+
Battery testing and fitting is walk-in. The free AC check for the most common light vehicles (Toyota, Mazda, Ford, Isuzu and similar) is a walk-in too. Anything that needs diagnostic time is better booked, because a fault that has to be recreated before it can be measured needs the vehicle for longer than a gap between jobs allows. Ring us with what it is doing and we will tell you which it is.
Are you a mobile auto electrician?+
The workshop is where nearly everything gets done, and it is where the full tool kit lives. On-site work is for fleet and commercial accounts, and for plant and machinery that genuinely cannot be moved. It is worked out on the phone rather than booked off a website — we are a small crew and the calendar fills up, so ring us, tell us the job, and we will give you an honest answer on whether it suits a visit or whether the vehicle is better off here.
