The branch is on Scott St in Bungalow, the trade and light-industrial belt immediately south of the Cairns CBD, with parking on site. Carts are on the floor to look at and to drive, the battery bay and the castor wall are behind them, and the workshop section at the back is where carts, trolleys and material handling gear are serviced and repaired.

Cairns is golf cart and leisure cart country — resort fleets, retirement village fleets, private owners on acreage, and hospitality venues moving food, linen and gear around a property rather than carrying it. Servicing and repairs happen in the workshop section behind the shop, and cart and deep cycle battery replacement runs alongside it. Eco Battery lithium kits go into carts here, and the same counter carries the castor and material handling range that keeps the region's kitchens, workshops and warehouses rolling — Fallshaw castors and Richmond materials handling are the two suppliers behind most of it. The tropics are the other half of the story — heat, humidity and a wet season are hard on a battery and harder on the connections either side of it, which is why nothing gets sold over this counter before it is tested. Electric UTVs, LokaBox vehicle security and 3D printed parts are sold through Cairns as well — UTV stock and servicing sit at the Townsville workshop, which is where they are, not a limit on where they can be bought.

- 178 Scott St, Bungalow QLD 4870, with parking on site. Bungalow is the trade and light-industrial belt immediately south of the Cairns CBD. The branch trades as Lift Easy Townlec, so that is the name on the building.
- What are the Cairns opening hours?
- Monday to Thursday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, and Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm. Closed Saturday, Sunday and public holidays. They are not the same as the Townsville workshop, which runs to 5:00pm all week.
- Do you sell golf carts in Cairns?
- Yes. Townlec is an authorised LVTong dealer in Townsville and Cairns, and the Cairns shop is where the carts are — the A827 and B827 series, utility carts with trays, and lifted variants. They are on the floor to look at and to drive, and what is not on the floor can be ordered in. Ring us with the model you are after.

- Yes. There is a workshop section behind the shop, and it services and repairs golf carts as well as trolleys and material handling gear. Ring the Cairns shop and we will book it in.

- No. Auto electrical, air conditioning and ECU work is done at the Townsville workshop, not at Cairns. Ask at the Cairns counter and we will organise it from there — the work still gets done, it just is not done at Scott St.

- Cairns is the Far North shop — the northern beaches, Gordonvale and the southern corridor, Port Douglas and the Tablelands behind Cairns are all within reach of Scott St. Ring us and we will work out the best way to do the job.
