Lift Easy Townlec is our Cairns branch, trading under its own name in Far North Queensland. It is the retail and material handling side of what we do: castors and wheels, trolleys, lifting and load restraint equipment, batteries, golf carts and gate hardware.
The store is in Cairns, but the range is not. Every castor, wheel, trolley and lifting item can be ordered online and sent to Townsville, Ayr, Charters Towers or anywhere else across the north — or ring us and we'll sort it out.

Sliding and cantilever gate hardware, electric gate motors, safety steps and safety equipment, and plastic end caps. Ladders are ordered in rather than held.
Built for medical and food.
A full stainless and hygienic range sits alongside the standard castors, made for medical, food processing, marine and wash-down environments. An ordinary zinc-plated castor corrodes, seizes and cannot be cleaned down properly.
Stainless frames and hardware throughout, from Fallshaw, Richmond and Tente. If you are fitting out a hospital trolley, a commercial kitchen or a wash-down area, ring the Cairns store and describe the environment. The wheel material matters as much as the load rating.

The two branches are one business, so Lift Easy stock is not limited to Far North Queensland customers. If you are in Townsville, Ayr, Charters Towers or anywhere else across the catchment, there are two ways to get it.
Not sure which castor, wheel or trolley suits the job? Ring the Cairns store and describe the load, the floor it runs on and how far it has to travel. That is usually enough to narrow it down, and it beats ordering twice.

Can I get Lift Easy stock in Townsville?+
Yes. Lift Easy is our Cairns branch, so the range is not limited to Far North Queensland customers. Order through the online shop, or ring either branch and we will work out how to get it to you.
Do you do auto electrical work at the Cairns store?+
No. Lift Easy is a retail store that sells and services golf carts and trolleys. Auto electrical work is done at the Townsville workshop.
Can you match a castor I already have?+
Usually, yes. Bring the old castor in, or the trolley itself if it is easier. Plate size, bolt pattern, wheel diameter and mounting height all have to line up, and reading them off the part beats measuring from memory.
What is the difference between a brake and a total lock?+
A brake stops the wheel rotating but the castor can still swivel, so the trolley will still creep sideways. A total lock holds both the wheel and the swivel. On anything loaded or unloaded while stationary, total lock is the one you want.
Do you hire golf carts?+
Yes, self-drive hire, with delivery and pickup arranged as part of the booking. Ring the Cairns store with the dates and what you need it for.
Do you repair trolleys, or only sell new ones?+
Both. Trolleys and dollies are repaired and rewheeled at the Cairns store. Worn or seized castors are usually the whole problem, and replacing them costs a fraction of a new trolley.
