Where are your branches?
Two. The workshop is at 448 Woolcock St, Garbutt QLD 4814, in Townsville's main light-industrial area with parking on site, and every electrical job runs through it. The Cairns branch trades as Lift Easy Townlec at 178 Scott St, Bungalow QLD 4870 — a shop and showroom for golf carts, batteries, castors and material handling, rather than a second auto electrical workshop.
What are your opening hours?
Townsville is open Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Cairns is open Monday to Thursday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, and Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm. Both are closed Saturday, Sunday and public holidays.
Which branch do I need?
Anything electrical — diagnostics, wiring faults, starter motors, alternators, air conditioning, dual battery systems, trucks and machinery — is Townsville. Golf carts, batteries over the counter, castors and material handling are at both, and Cairns has carts on the floor to look at. If you are not sure, ring either branch and we will point you the right way.
Is auto electrical work done at the Cairns branch?
No. Cairns is a shop and showroom, and its workshop section services carts, trolleys and material handling gear rather than vehicle electrical systems. Electrical work is organised through the Townsville workshop — ask in Cairns and we will get it sorted.
How far out do you go?
The catchment runs from the Whitsundays up to the Tablelands and west to Mount Isa, taking in Airlie Beach and Proserpine, Bowen, Ayr, Charters Towers, Ingham and Mareeba. Fleet and machinery work is often done on site and is arranged out of the Townsville workshop — call and we will work out the best way to do the job.
