Our position

If your cart is still running flooded lead-acid, this is the conversation worth having. Eco Battery's published figures put a lithium pack at about a third of the weight with roughly three times the life expectancy, and there is no topping up with water at any point. The kit arrives complete, rather than as a battery plus a charger and gauges to chase separately.

Eco Battery 51V 80Ah Gen 3

51.2V, 80Ah, 4,096Wh. Rated on the label to 50A continuous charge, 150A continuous discharge and a 500A three-second peak.

Eco Battery 51V 105Ah

51.2V, 105Ah, 5.3kWh, 44.45kg. Rated to 250A continuous discharge and sealed to IP67, in Thru-Hole and Skinny cases to suit the battery bay.

Eco Battery questions.

Is EB the same as Eco Battery?+
Yes. EB is the badge on the lid, Eco Battery is the full name underneath it — one battery, two ways of saying it. If someone has told you to ask for an EB lithium pack, this is what they mean.
Will it fit my cart?+
Eco Battery's own fitment guide names EZGO, Club Car, Yamaha and ICON among the brands its kits suit. We fit them to LVTong carts as well — the premium LVTong models come with Eco Battery Gen 3 from new. Either way we confirm fit before quoting.
How much further will it go?+
Eco Battery publishes a range guide by pack size, and rates the 105Ah pack at 54 holes plus the trip to and from the course. What a cart actually does comes down to its weight, its load and the ground it covers, so tell us how yours gets used and we will spec the pack to suit.
Can I install it myself?+
Technically yes, but two of Eco Battery's own warranty conditions are worth knowing first. The battery has to be registered within 60 days of purchase or the cover drops back to one year, and a kit bought through a non-authorised dealer carries no warranty at all. We are an authorised dealer — ask us about registration when we quote the job.
How should I charge it?+
Eco Battery's guidance is to charge after each use, and not to run the pack past about 80% of its capacity before putting it back on the charger. Unlike a flooded bank there is no topping up with water, and no harm in a partial charge.
