Fusion. Lithium and AGM deep cycle.

Fusion runs a full AGM deep-cycle range and a lithium line alongside it, and we stock both. The lithium V-LFP range covers 12V, 24V and 36V, with slimline cases for tight battery boxes. The CBC Cyclic AGM range goes up to 260Ah. Fusion publish over 2,000 cycles at full depth of discharge for the V-LFP-12-100.

Our position

Fusion is the range we reach for on caravan and 4WD touring builds, because it covers the whole job — the battery, the slimline case when the box is tight, and an AGM option when lithium is more than the setup needs. Tell us how you use the rig and we'll spec it from that rather than from the price tag.

Fusion V-LFP lithium 12V

From the V-LFP-12-100 at 100Ah up to the V-LFP-12-200 at 200Ah, with the V-LFP-12-100SL and V-LFP-12-120FT slimline cases for tight battery boxes. Built-in BMS, and Bluetooth monitoring through Fusion's own app on the 100Ah.

Fusion lithium 24V and 36V

The V-LFP-24-100 for 24V systems, and the V-LFP-36-120EV, which is Fusion's 36V deep-cycle electric vehicle battery.

Fusion AGM, Gel and standby

The CBC Cyclic AGM range up to the CBC12V260AH at 260Ah, the CBF solar series, and the CBG Gel range. Sealed, maintenance-free, and built for repeated deep discharge rather than starting. The NBN12-7 sits in the same range for NBN battery backup.

Fusion electric vehicle batteries

EV6-275 at 6V, and the EV12-45 and EV12-75 at 12V. Deep-cycle EV batteries — Fusion list them for golf carts and light electric vehicles.

Fusion solar storage

The FES-512, Fusion's 5kWh lithium energy solar system. Pre-packaged storage for a house, a shed or a cabin.

Charging a Fusion lithium

Fusion state the V-LFP batteries charge from a standard three-stage AGM smart charger, which is why a lithium swap is often simpler than people expect. Worth checking the profile on your existing charger, DC-DC unit and solar regulator before you buy — that is the part that catches people out.

Both of these are our own stock. A battery you can put your hands on is a different proposition to one that has to be ordered in, and it is the reason to ring us rather than wait on a courier.

Fusion is a broad, well-documented range rather than a single hero product, and that is the useful part of it — the same brand covers a 9Ah sealed AGM and a 200Ah lithium, so a build does not have to be assembled from four different labels. Every V-LFP carries a BMS from the factory, and Fusion publish full specifications for each model, which is what lets us size a system properly instead of guessing at it.

Lithium and AGM, the questions we get asked.

Lithium or AGM for my caravan?+

It comes down to how often you are off grid and how much weight you can carry. Lithium gives you more of the rated capacity actually usable, far more cycles — Fusion publish over 2,000 at full depth of discharge on the V-LFP-12-100 — and less than half the weight of the equivalent lead acid. AGM still makes sense for a van that spends most of its life on powered sites. Tell us how you use it and we'll tell you which one suits.

Can I just swap AGM for lithium?+

Not quite — you need to check the charger profile, often update the DCDC charger, and verify your solar regulator handles lithium. We size the whole system, not just the battery.

Will it cope with NQ heat?+

Yes, but mount it where airflow is decent, not bolted to a hot 4WD chassis or in a sealed black box on a roof rack.
